Blair Hollis M.A. GCDF BCCC BCMHC is the founder and President of Crossroads Consulting, Inc. a counseling and professional development consulting practice. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy and Religion from DePauw University; a Certificate in Executive Leadership from Cornell University; a Masters of Arts degree in Counseling with honors from Liberty University; a Certificate in Interpersonal Neurobiology and Depression, as well as a Certificate in Addictions and Recovery.

Counseling
He is a Board Certified Christian Counselor (BCCC) and a Board Certified Mental Heath Coach (BCMHC), with post graduate education and training in counseling under Dr. Savickas and Christian counselor training in anxiety and Couple Therapy with Dr.Worthington's Hope-Focused Counseling Model.

He believes that counseling creates a safe space to unpack what is getting in the way of your life and a process to uncover what needs to be addressed. It allows for an understanding of just how unique they are sufficiently to develop the resiliency to navigate a pathway toward restoration.Taking this leap of faith creates hope. It manifests an awareness of how to take your life back, to find meaning and joy once again in this world.

Career and Professional Development
He holds the title of Career Development Facilitator (CDF), a professional designation conferred by the National Career Development Association (NCDA) and Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) a designation conferred by CCE, requiring 1,800 hours of training in professional development facilitation and counselor training under Dr. Rebecca Dedmond.

His education and training in Cornell University’s Certificate Program in Executive Leadership expanded his knowledge in using a strengths-based approach to: Conflict Management, Enhancing Workforce Engagement and Optimal Performance Workshops.This equipped him with the ability to work with Dr. Dori Stiles to perfect the use of psychological assessments, focusing on individual professional development and extending to enterprise level corporate leadership workshops. The underlying goal is to awaken individuals to their human potential.

He believes that career and professional development focuses on self-awareness, identifying and authenticating inherent strengths, and constructing a pathway they were born to follow. It is a process of finding their calling or repurposing their gifts, professionally in ways that allow them to realize their full potential.

Practice Specialization
What he has learned in his 16 years of practice is that our personal and professional lives are not independent separate components, but are intricately intertwined and unique. The truth is, our issues in life crossover into both domains. Consequently, each dilemma may be addressed and integrated within a strengths-based approach to guide individuals to finding meaning in what they do, to work through a process of taking on a new perspective of how to leverage their gifts, and to perfect a pathway in life that has a sense of purpose. As a result, in order to meet these needs, he sought to pursue the knowledge and training to reconcile both of these.

His passion is to guide individuals of all ages who are confronting life stressors to clarity of purpose. This requires critical self-inquiry to crystallize new methods to enrich their lives. The ability to tap into their uniqueness may be expressed in both their personal and professional lives. The efficacy of this developmental approach offers clients greater hope and the capacity to envision new pathways enhancing a newfound purpose filled life.

He founded Crossroads Consulting, Inc. in order to meet the multifarious needs of others by adapting and creating a unique Hope-Focused Model developed from Savickas' (2005) innovative constructionist theory and the important work of Niles, Amundson & Neault's (2010) Hope-Centered approach.

And thus, Crossroads Consulting, Inc. was born.
