Blair Hollis, M.A. GCDF BCCC BCMHC

Blair Hollis is the founder and president of Crossroads Consulting, Inc., a counseling, career development, and professional development consulting practice. With more than 17 years of experience, he helps individuals navigate personal challenges, career transitions, leadership development, and the search for greater meaning and purpose.

Blair earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Religion from DePauw University and a Master of Arts in Counseling with honors from Liberty University. He also completed Cornell University's Executive Leadership Certificate Program, along with certificates in Interpersonal Neurobiology and Depression and Addictions and Recovery.

Counseling and Mental Health Coaching

Blair is a Board Certified Christian Counselor (BCCC) and Board Certified Mental Health Coach (BCMHC). His postgraduate education includes counseling training under Dr. Mark Savickas, anxiety and couples counseling training, and study of Dr. Everett Worthington's Hope-Focused Counseling model.

His counseling approach provides a supportive space for clients to identify the obstacles affecting their lives, understand their individual needs, and build resilience. By combining thoughtful self-exploration with a hope-focused process, Blair helps clients work toward restoration, renewed meaning, and greater joy.

Taking the first step can create hope. Through increased self-awareness and practical guidance, clients can begin reclaiming their lives and developing a clearer path forward.

Career Counseling and Professional Development

Blair holds the Career Development Facilitator (CDF) credential from the National Career Development Association and the Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) credential from the Center for Credentialing & Education. His GCDF preparation included 1,800 hours of professional development facilitation and counselor training under Dr. Rebecca Dedmond.

His executive leadership education at Cornell University strengthened his expertise in:

  • Conflict management and effective workplace communication

  • Employee engagement and organizational performance

  • Strengths-based leadership development

  • Psychological assessments for individuals and teams

  • Corporate leadership workshops and executive development

Blair also worked with Dr. Dori Stiles to refine his use of psychological assessments for individual professional development and enterprise-level leadership programs. His goal is to help people recognize their strengths, develop their potential, and apply their abilities more effectively.

His career development approach emphasizes self-awareness, the discovery of authentic strengths, and the creation of a meaningful professional path. Whether clients are choosing a career, changing direction, or repurposing existing skills, Blair helps them connect their gifts with work that offers purpose and fulfillment.

An Integrated Approach to Personal and Professional Growth

Blair's 17 years of practice have reinforced a central principle: personal and professional lives are deeply interconnected. Stress, uncertainty, relationship concerns, career dissatisfaction, and questions of identity often affect both areas.

Crossroads Consulting addresses these overlapping challenges through an integrated, strengths-based approach. Blair helps clients:

  • Clarify their values, strengths, and sense of purpose

  • Navigate life stressors and career transitions

  • Develop resilience and a more hopeful perspective

  • Recognize and apply their unique abilities

  • Create purposeful pathways for personal and professional growth

He works with individuals of different ages and life stages who are seeking clarity, direction, and renewed purpose. Through critical self-inquiry and practical development strategies, clients can discover new ways to enrich their personal lives, careers, and relationships.

The Crossroads Consulting Hope-Focused Model

Blair founded Crossroads Consulting, Inc. to meet clients' interconnected counseling, career, and professional development needs. His Hope-Focused Model draws from Dr. Mark Savickas' career construction theory and the Hope-Centered work of Spencer Niles, Norman Amundson, and Roberta Neault.

This personalized approach helps clients examine their experiences, identify meaningful patterns, and envision achievable pathways forward. The objective is not simply to solve an immediate problem, but to help each person develop the clarity, confidence, and hope needed to build a more purposeful life.
